Vaccination, treatment and antibiotic reports

Vaccination compliance lets you review the latest recorded event for each animal and vaccine and plan follow-up by due date. Treatment history lists treatments in a date window and helps you investigate medicines, repeated conditions and recorded costs. Antibiotic usage summarizes marked antibiotic courses for stewardship review. Open them from Operations → Reports → Browse all reports. These are review reports; use the animal and withdrawal records for decisions about milk and meat release.

The report takes the latest vaccination event for each animal and vaccine identity. It applies to every animal species and sex represented by a recorded event; the page’s use of “cow” is only display wording. It does not generate a row for every animal × every vaccine in the farm catalogue. An animal with no recorded vaccination for a vaccine may therefore be absent, not labelled No schedule. No schedule means that the latest recorded vaccination has no next-due date. Check protocols and the animal’s history if you expect a vaccination that is missing from this report.

The four cards count the full report, not merely the visible page. Choose a card to filter the table; choose it again to return to All:

Card Meaning
Overdue Recorded next-due date is before farm-local today.
Due in 30 days Recorded due date is today or within the next 30 farm-local days.
Current Recorded due date is later than the 30-day window.
No schedule The latest recorded vaccination has no next-due date.

Plan one vet visit groups the overdue and due-soon rows by vaccine and shows the count, including how many are overdue. It is a planning aid based on the recorded events. Search vaccine filters vaccine names on the server after a short pause; it is not an animal-tag/name search. The table is paged 25 rows at a time, ordered overdue, due soon, current, then no schedule. Its columns are Tag · Name, Vaccine, Last given, Next due, signed Days till due (negative means overdue), Status, Dose # and Last batch. A dash means no next date or batch was recorded.

Export CSV downloads all rows matching the current status and vaccine-name search, not just the visible page. It currently has no server-side row ceiling, so allow time for a large register and narrow the status or vaccine search if the request is slow. Use the source event or vaccination recording guide to correct an unexpected due date; the report itself has no edit control. If two entries for the same animal and vaccine have exactly the same vaccination date, inspect the animal history before relying on the displayed “latest” batch or next-due value because the current report has no second ordering key for that tie.

The initial From date is farm-local today minus 90 days and To is today, so the inclusive window can contain 91 calendar dates. Choose another inclusive period with the date controls; their presets can help. The report loads 25 treatment rows per page. Export CSV downloads all rows in the selected date window, not merely the current page, and does not apply the separate on-page text search. Its columns are Date, Tag, Name, Disease, Drug, Antibiotic?, Withdrawal end, In withdrawal?, Repeat count, Vet, Status and Cost. If the synchronous export limit is exceeded, narrow the date window before trying again.

The summary cards are calculated over the report’s full date-filtered set of non-deleted treatment rows, rather than the visible page. A cancelled historical row can still appear in the table even when it is excluded from these statistics:

Card What it displays
Treatments Number of non-deleted treatment rows in the window.
Animals Distinct animals represented by those rows.
Antibiotic Count of rows marked antibiotic and that count as a percentage of treatment rows.
In withdrawal Backend count of rows with an open withdrawal condition in the filtered set.
Chronic cases Count of treatment rows whose animal-and-condition group has at least two rows in the period. This is neither a distinct animal count nor a distinct clinical-case count; inspect the rows before treating it as a diagnosis.
Total cost Recorded treatment cost for non-cancelled rows in the window.

Search this page (tag, name, disease, drug, vet) narrows only the currently visible 25-row page in the browser. A zero-result page search does not mean the whole date range has no match; move to another page or narrow the dates. The table columns are treatment Date, Tag · Name, Disease, Drug, Withdrawal end, Vet, Status and Cost. AB marks an antibiotic record. chronic beside a disease marks at least two non-cancelled treatments for that animal and condition. Cancelled rows can remain visible for history but do not receive the chronic badge.

An active withdrawal label and red row appear when the displayed withdrawal-end date has not passed and the treatment is not cancelled. This row highlight is not a complete milk/meat clearance test: an open course can remain held pending completion even when its projected end date has passed. The backend’s withdrawal count includes that case, while this page’s row highlight currently checks the date alone. Always use the animal’s current withdrawal status and treatment/withdrawal follow-up before milk or meat is released. A dash in Withdrawal end does not itself establish saleability.

The table and its summary cards currently resolve the same date fields differently. The table converts the inclusive farm-local dates to a half-open UTC range, while the statistics endpoint binds the date strings as timestamp offsets and applies an inclusive instant comparison. Around the To date, farm timezones and daylight-saving changes, a card can therefore disagree with the listed rows. Treat the table as the row register and investigate a mismatch rather than attempting to reconcile it by changing farm records.

Use this report to review antimicrobial use by recorded treatment course. From and To choose an inclusive farm-local window; the initial range normally runs from the same calendar date one year before today through today. On 29 February, the current browser calculation can construct 29 February in a non-leap prior year and fail to load until you choose a valid From date. The To picker does not allow a future date. If From is later than To, correct the range before expecting a result. This page has no download button.

Card How the figure is calculated
Treatment incidence Distinct animals with a treatment marked antibiotic in the window, divided by the farm’s current active animal count. This is not animal-days at risk or a historical average herd size. A dash appears if the current active herd count is zero.
Antibiotic courses Count of non-deleted treatment rows marked antibiotic in the selected window.
Animals treated Distinct animals represented by those antibiotic rows. One animal can have multiple courses.
Antibiotic share Antibiotic-course rows divided by all non-deleted treatment rows in the window. A dash appears when the window has no treatments.
HP-CIA courses Count of antibiotic rows whose drug name matches the report’s high-priority critically important antibiotic classifier. Review the underlying product; a name-based flag is not a verified drug classification.

By antibiotic lists the treatment’s summary drug name, its course count and the number of distinct animals treated with it. A treatment can contain several medicine lines, but the current breakdown uses the treatment header, which is the first medicine, while the treatment-level antibiotic flag means any medicine is antibiotic. Inspect multi-medicine treatments before relying on the per-drug or HP-CIA split. An HP-CIA badge marks drugs classified by that name.

If the report shows Check these products before reporting this figure, compare each listed medicine line’s recorded milk/meat withdrawal in whole days with its product catalogue defaults and verify the product’s antibiotic classification. The check currently compares milk-days and meat-days only; an hours-based milk withdrawal is not included. The warning identifies a possible data-quality problem and does not prove that the product is an antibiotic. Antibiotic share relies on the stored antibiotic flag, so incorrect product classification can understate the figure. Resolve classification in the product/medicine setup and review the source treatments before using this report externally.
